Delete Your Account
Effective date: August 12, 2026
About This Page
This page explains how to request deletion of your Inspectoma account and the data associated with it. Inspectoma is developed and operated by J&Z Solutions LLC.
You do not need to install the app or sign in to read these instructions, and you can submit a deletion request by email even if you can no longer access your account.
How to Request Deletion
From inside the app. Open the Inspectoma app, sign in, open the account menu, and choose Delete Account. Confirm the warning dialog. The deletion is carried out immediately, and you are returned to the sign-in screen.
By email. If you can no longer sign in, send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address registered on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may need to verify that you own the account before we act on the request. We complete verified requests within 30 days.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When the request is carried out:
- Your account is deleted and you are signed out on every device immediately — all access tokens issued to your account are revoked at once.
- Your email address is released, so you can use it to register a fresh Inspectoma account later if you want to.
- The deleted account record is kept only in an archived, inactive form so that historical inspection records stay consistent. It can no longer be used to sign in, and it is not visible anywhere in the Service.
What Is Deleted
- Your user account and profile details (name, email, phone).
- Your sign-in credentials and all active sessions and API tokens.
- Your membership of the organization you belonged to.
What Is Retained, and for How Long
Inspectoma is a tool for inspection businesses, so most of the content created in the app belongs to the inspection company (organization) and to its clients rather than to you personally. Deleting your user account does not delete the company’s records, because that would destroy work owed to those clients.
The following is retained:
- Inspections, findings, photos and reports you created, together with the invoices and quotes issued for them. They remain with the organization.
- Records we must keep by law, such as tax and accounting records for payments processed through the Service.
This content is kept for as long as the organization’s account stays active. When an organization closes its own account, its inspection data is deleted within 90 days, except for records we are legally required to retain for longer. The archived record of your deleted user account is likewise removed once it is no longer needed to keep those inspection records intact.
If you want the organization’s data removed as well, the organization’s owner has to close the organization’s account — write to [email protected] and we will help.
If You Own an Organization With Other Members
If you are the owner of an organization that still has other active members, your deletion request is refused — deleting the owner would leave those colleagues and their inspection data without an administrator.
To proceed, do one of the following first, then retry the deletion:
- Transfer ownership of the organization to another member, or
- Remove or deactivate the other members so that you are the only active member left.
If you are not sure how to do either, contact [email protected] and we will sort it out with you.
